2012 TarraWarra Estate Reserve Chardonnay Cellar Release
2012 was an excellent vintage in the Yarra Valley. Ideal conditions persisted throughout the growing season, with temperatures hovering in the mid to high twenties from veraison to harvest. Cool nights and mild days gave perfect ripening conditions, with the fruit in perfect condition at harvest. A wine of very fine complexity it displays lime and white peach aromas. The flavour is long and seamless on the palate with fruit that is tightly wound with minerality and lime zest. It is an exciting follow on from the 2011. A wine to drink and enjoy now or cellar for 10 or more years.
