Aquilani is named after one of Italy's leading soccer players. With a long and successful career he was adored at home and abroad. This voilet fragrant delight is an excellent choice for any Pinot Noir lover. Light red, which is a hallmark of the Sangiovese grape, embodying and adapting to the unique Tuscan soil like a chameleon.

Deep ruby red. Beautifully lifted, showing fragrant notes of fresh violets, wild raspberry and dried rose petals. Medium-bodied, this sangiovese is soft, juicy and approachable with bright but dense red fruit characters with fine, grippy tannins and a savoury, slightly sappy finish. An ideal dining partner, it matches with a variety of dishes from classic cold Italian cured meats right the way through to hearty pasta tomato based dishes.
