Bowen Estate Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Established in 1972 by Doug and Joy Bowen, Bowen Estate creates exceptional classic Coonawarra wines enhancing the terroir of the Estate’s position in Coonawarra. Second generation, daughter Emma, is now the family’s winemaker and continues the dedication of more than 47 vintages. Heritage clonal vineyard plantings, innovative viticultural practices and precise wine making have firmly positioned Bowen Estate wines as premium offerings of pedigree elegance and longevity.

The year's favourable vintage conditions produced a dark and luscious fruit flavoured wine. Dense dark olive aromas guide the taster through a layered textured wine. Ripe rich plum characters are mouth filling supported by ample dark fruit characters. Layered tannin structures enhance the palate, a true classic Coonawarra expression. This is a wine which will mellow wonderfully with age, for anyone who can possibly resist the temptation of drinking it now.
