It opens with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, rose petal, sandalwood, and warm spice, with a lifted, almost incense‑like perfume that is unmistakably Sangreal. The north‑facing exposure and ironstone‑streaked soils give the wine brightness, aromatic lift, and fine mineral tension. On the palate, it is silky, tightly coiled, and beautifully structured, showing flavors of red cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, spice, and subtle earth/umami. The 70% whole bunch brings savoury stem spice and fine, lattice‑like tannins, while the 70% new oak is seamlessly integrated, adding shape rather than weight.
