It opens with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, and blueberry, lifted by violet, white pepper, and fresh herbs. Compared to their IGP Syrah bottlings, this cuvée shows more depth, darker fruit, and a clearer granite‑mineral signature. On the palate, it is medium‑bodied, juicy, and finely textured, showing flavors of dark berry fruit, plum skin, black pepper, and gentle spice, supported by fresh acidity and fine, lightly grippy tannins. The 2023 warmth adds ripeness, but the Crozes terroir keeps the wine balanced, lively, and structured.
