Chateau Des Tourettes Verget Au Sud Vin De France Chardonnay

Crafted by Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen, this Chardonnay is sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Luberon, nestled between the Vaucluse plain and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. The wine is fermented and aged for 7–8 months on fine lees, mostly in used oak barrels with regular bâtonnage, enhancing its texture and complexity without overpowering the fruit. On the palate, it shows delicate floral aromas, subtle stone fruit, and almond notes, balanced by a bright citrusy finish and 13.5% alcohol. It’s a confident, ripe expression of Chardonnay that reflects the untapped potential of Southern Rhône’s cooler microclimates.
