Chatto Wines was first established in 2000 by Jim and Daisy Chatto, who hold over 22 years experience of making Tasmanian Pinot Noir. Jim is a respected and highly regarded producer; awarded Gourmet Traveller Wine Winemaker of the Year in 2019 and a senior wine judge across regional and capital city shows. Chatto Wines specialises in pinot noir, with tiny production and very limited quantities. Their own Isle vineyard in the Huon Valley, hosts eight different clones of pinot noir on warm north-facing site, just steps from the tidal Huon River.
