Each Dal Zotto wine is the blend of three elements - family, tradition and innovation - with one overarching philosophy - your origins are just as important as your future. The Dal Zotto philosophy begins with what is closest to our hearts - family. From rural life in Italy, to settling in the King Valley, to pioneering Italian grape varieties, the journey has been a shared one. Along the way, from the good times at the table to our appetite for discovery in the vineyard and winery, it is "La Famiglia" that has brought it all together. 'With delicate floral aromas followed by plum, this Sangiovese instantly invites you in. Followed by a rich, fresh and vibrant mouth feel with hints of chocolate and fleshy red cherry. Finishing with lingering acidity and typical Sangiovese elegance.' Michael Dal Zotto

    • JAMES HALLIDAY : 90 Points

Cherry red in hue and boasting cherry-infused aromas together with bright red berries and layers of spice, this sangiovese is super-fresh and ready to go. The palate is crisp and delicious with red licorice, dark spice and a light herbal influence. Easygoing tannins all the way. Jeni Port

    • MIKE BENNIE : 92 Points

Pale, vibrant looking thing. Juicy, bright and crunchy red. Nicely done. Feels a few rungs up from rose wines, gently sweet, cherry juice and minty notes, dried herb, pepper. Light and fresh style with great tannin profile, and, importantly, high drinkability. Charming, really. And a good expression of the variety.
