The 2025 vintage shows that classic Pipers River tension: fine, chalk‑edged tannins and lively, crystalline acidity that give the wine precision without austerity. A faint thread of spice, crushed stone, and subtle oak sweetness adds quiet complexity. The finish is long, lifted, and delicately mineral, leaving impressions of red cherry skin, gentle earthiness, and cool‑climate finesse.
