    Pale cherry in colour.

It is light yet with some good fruit flesh over racy acidity and fine, delicate tannins.

The grapes are fully de-stemmed and wild fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks with 8 to 12 days of maceration. The wine is bottled young and fresh.

Very distinctive in style, dominated by fruity (pomegranate) aromas which evolve towards notes of pepper and spice on the finish.

Gary Walsh 92 POINTSOUT OF 100. Strewn with dried herbs, smoky cap gun, spice, sour cherry, tart blackberry, grilled meat and pepper. It’s crunchy and savoury, cranberry acidity, grainy tannin, certainly a lot of stony stuff and dried herb, with a pleasant bitter almond character, spicy and meaty to close. Very interesting. If you love a bit of the old ‘garrigue’ in your wine, then even better. The Wine Front23 July 2023
