Domaine André Perret Condrieu
Viognier from four plots-Chauramond, St-Michel, Chéry and Condrieu planted in the 80’s and one 100 year + plot from Verlieu. Vat fermented, then placed in 80% new and 1-4 year old 228-litre, 300-litre & 400-litre oak casks (total new oak 15-20%), and 20% steel vat, raised 12 months.
“Apricot, peach and nectarine; this has good fruit intensity and a full, opulent palate. The acidity just about cuts through, contributing to a long finish. Juicy and fleshy, drinkable and delicious – drink it young. Fermented initially in stainless steel to control the temperatures, then finished in 300L barrels. Certified Haute Valeur Environnementale.
