On the palate, it is medium‑ to full‑bodied, finely structured, and energetic, showing flavors of dark berry fruit, plum skin, black pepper, and savory spice, supported by firm, refined tannins and bright, linear acidity. The granite soils of the central Saint‑Joseph slopes give the wine a vertical, mineral‑driven frame that keeps the 2022 ripeness in balance.
