This cuvée comes from 30–35-year-old vines grown on clay-limestone soils in Gaillac. Winemaker Florent Plageoles vinifies it with 50% carbonic maceration, resulting in a wine that’s bright, juicy, and gluggable, yet structured. On the palate, it evokes wild berries, sappy herbs, pepper, and a savory mineral edge, with fine tannins and vibrant acidity. Aged in cement tanks with no filtration, it’s a pure expression of terroir and grape character—often described as a Gaillac version of Pinot Noir or Beaujolais, but with its own distinctive personality.
