It opens with aromas of blackberry, plum, black cherry, and red currant, lifted by violet, licorice, and warm spice. Compared to many Côtes‑du‑Rhône bottlings, this cuvée is deeper, darker, and more structured, thanks to the old vines and Santa Duc’s biodynamic precision. On the palate, it is medium‑ to full‑bodied, plush, and concentrated, showing flavors of ripe black fruits, cherry, plum skin, and sweet spice, supported by fine, polished tannins and a creamy, rounded texture.
