Domaine Yves Leccia 'E Croce' Patrimonio AOP Rouge

It opens with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, redcurrant, warm earth, smoke, and wild maquis herbs, with Niellucciu’s signature savoury edge. Compared to the YL Rouge, E Croce is darker, more structured, more mineral, and more overtly tied to its schist plateau. On the palate, it is medium‑ to full‑bodied, racy, and finely structured, showing flavors of black cherry, plum skin, red berries, spice, and warm stone, supported by fine, elegant tannins and the freshness typical of 2021. The schist soils give the wine a linear, mineral backbone.
