The palate is fine‑boned, mineral‑driven, and quietly intense, opening with red cherry, cranberry, and wild strawberry carried by fresh, cool‑climate acidity that keeps the wine taut and energetic. Tannins are ultra‑fine, chalky, and delicately firm, giving a beautifully etched structure that feels slightly more linear and stony than the other Eastern Peake blocks. The mid‑palate shows rose petal, dried herb, subtle spice, and a flinty quartz‑mineral thread, reflecting the volcanic‑granite soils of Coghills Creek with clarity. The finish is long, dry, and tightly focused, leaving red‑berry, floral, and mineral echoes with impressive precision.
