Elegant yet powerful, with complex aromas of toasted walnuts and almonds, orange marmalade, vanilla and subtle oxidative notes. The palate is dry, intense and beautifully concentrated, showing roasted nuts, dried fruit, spice and a distinctive saline, almost iodine-like character. Freshness and fine acidity keep the wine lively and balanced, while a gentle bitter note adds complexity to the long, persistent finish. The wine has an average age of more than 20 years and was bottled at 17.5% ABV.
