Escarpment Pahi Pinot Noir

Ripe cherry, raspberry, and plum, layered with blackberry and mulberry richness. The mid-palate is broad and weighty, showing earth, leather, and forest floor complexity, alongside hints of vanilla, tobacco, and subtle oak spice. Compared to Escarpment’s Kiwa Pinot Noir, Pahi is described as a “cutlass”, curved, lush, and expansive, with less overt oak and more immediate drinkability. The tannins are smooth and integrated, acidity is gentle yet supportive, and the finish is long, savoury, and fruit-driven, making it approachable now but structured enough for short-term cellaring.
