The story of Gala Estate and their beautiful wines are a legacy now 200 years in the making. Brothers John and Adam Amos and their families landed in beautiful Van Diemen’s Land in 1821. They called it Gala, after the area in Scotland from which they originated. Nestled between five native forest reserves and four wild rivers on the majestic East Coast of Tasmania, Gala Estate vines excel. Packed with fresh forest fruits and a tad of smokiness. A terrific value Pinot Noir made in a lighter style with subtle oak and good persistence on the palate. Serve at room temperature 15-17 degrees or chills beautifully in a hot climate. Serve with light meats.
