Heathcote Slaughterhouse Paddock Shiraz

Planted on the old cattle holding yard, Slaughterhouse Paddock Shiraz hails from single vineyard range of wines. The fruit for this wine is exclusively sourced from some of the region’s oldest producing Shiraz vines. This beautifully crafted wine is made from hand harvested super premium fruit that is fermented in small batches that are hand plunged during the fermentation process to extract the flavours gently. New oak is specifically selected to work alongside the fruit characters creating a wine that is balanced, pure and a perfect example of the regions favourite variety. Dense, dark red purple. Exquisite black berry fruits with lifted rose petal notes. Concentrated defined layers of primary fruits with a seamless complexity of sweetly spiced oak and tightly packed savoury tannins.
