Heirloom Adelaide Hills Chardonnay

Gently viscous; pale gold in colour mixed with straw and hay hues. Bright. Minerals, lemon meringue, custard, wet river pebbles, newly-baled straw, marzipan, white stone fruits. Aromatic and the bouquet are complex, deeply engaging. yet the acidity and length is simply amazing. There are nectarine and white peach flavours, and Royal Gala apple skin crunch and grip, particularly at the front palate. Mid palate is all stone fruits followed by a long finish, with searing and puckering acidity lingering and drawing out the texture and flavour of the wine in a sustained, tailing, over-the-horizon manner.
