Glossy black core with a crimson-purple rim.

Perfumed blackberry, plum, mulberry fruit and abundant spice, characteristic of the vineyard.  This site assures a true sense of place with its purity of fruit, peppercorn spice and dried lavender.  There is a subtle suggestion of geological input from the site adding complexity with a hint of ferrous.

Leaner on the palate this vintage but still with Moppa bright intense flavours.  Ripe blackberry and rich plum fruit woven on a bed of baking spices at its core.  Balanced by savoury black olive, dark chocolate and liquorice.  Good acidity with velvety tannins allows for immense drinkability now.
