Leeuwin Estate Prelude Chardonnay

Bright, fragrant and energetic, the nose of the wine shows lime sherbert, pear and burnt lemon, and just a touch of white nectarine. Faintly floral, wattle, jasmine and frangipani emerge, with brioche, cardomom and chamomile in tow.

On the palate, finger lime, white peach and nashi pear are all on display, the wine’s generosity offset by freshness and tension; the palate weight and texture is gently framed by quality French oak. All this leads on to a finish ultimately defined by balance and refreshment - an excellent, classic expression of Margaret River Chardonnay.
