Lowestoft Reserve Brut NV
The mid‑palate broadens into rich layers of toasted sourdough, almond, nougat, and white cherry, flavours confirmed across multiple producer and retailer notes. The mousse is fine and persistent, carrying the wine’s blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (60/40) from Tasmania’s Tasman Peninsula, Huon Valley, and Coal River Valley. A subtle creaminess—supported by the inclusion of five‑year‑old reserve wine in the liqueur d’expédition—adds depth without dulling the wine’s mineral line. As it moves across the tongue, the acidity remains seamless and refreshing, tightening the finish into a long, nutty, citrus‑tinged taper. It’s a precise, cool‑climate Tasmanian sparkling that balances purity with patisserie‑like richness.
