Engaging, fragrant spring floral aromas, sweet lime and hints of spice. Whilst very sweet and luscious with its orange and lime zest Riesling intensity, this has bright acidity and citrus tang to keep it fresh and lively. It’s drinking beautifully, irresistible even.

    Winemakers comments

A highly risky and complex process, the making of this wine is very much about seat-of-pants decision making and this is where the experience of 30 vintages certainly helps! A labour of love, this is the ultimate in reliance on weather to concentrate Riesling grapes on the vine. Will age for a good decade.

Certified biodynamically farmed and from a single vineyard. Wow stuff here. It's all about flavour, and lots of it: ginger, green apple, blackcurrants, lemon curd, green mango, brine and slate-like mineral characters. While it tightens on its rails of grapefruit acidity, there's a subtle green almond and cashew-like savouriness in play, too. Utterly delicious to drink, a wave of complex flavours and compelling texture with an inherent drinkability in tow. Stephanie Toole and co. have knocked it out of the park with this one.

Aromas break free from the glass with concentration like essential oils of cypress, lavender, lemon zest and peppermint. Packed tightly with gunpowder in the air, a type of dusty rock spread amongst the flowers and the fruit. It’s dense and detailed. Flavours are like drinking the essence infused with nutmeg and barky cinnamon, a cool slate-like feel of texture and a long cool minty finish with ruby grapefruit lingering long. Complex and invigorating potion.
