Mountadam Five Fifty Cabernet Sauvignon

The Mountadam Vineyards Five Fifty range is aptly named after the Estates altitude of 550m above sea level. All Mountadam wines (including the Five Fifty range) are sourced entirely from our Estate of 147 hectares undervine. The Five Fifty range offers amazing quality for price value being made from Mountadam’s 2001 SA125 clone Cabernet Sauvignon plantings.

On release the wine is a rich ruby colour with a vibrant purple hue. The wine has aromas of fresh dark berry fruits, spice and tobacco. Fragrant lashings of blackcurrant with bright, fresh red fruits and blackberries intertwined with layers of spice and cassis on the palate. This wine has been crafted to be enjoyed upon release but will reward careful cellaring up to and possibly beyond 2028.
