Deep bright purple in colour. Inky blackberry, red currants, raspberry and aniseed on the nose. An inky texture on the palate, red and black fruits with a. fleshy mid palate and a savory finish. The wine show the uniqueness of the Upper Tintara vineyard terroir; a medley of inky blue fruit and a savoury and ferruginous heart which my father used to say was good for the soul
