Prophet’s Rock Pinot Gris

Prophet’s Rock Pinot Gris is a finely crafted aromatic white from Central Otago, sourced primarily from the steep, schist-rich Rocky Point Vineyard. Hand-harvested estate fruit is whole-bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in old barrels, then aged on gross lees for texture, purity, and site expression.

The wine shows concentrated aromatics, low yields, and careful canopy management, resulting in great depth, precision, and ripeness. Fermentation over several months builds complexity, while extended lees ageing adds weight and harmony. Bottled under Diam cork, it is structured for both immediate expression and long-term cellaring of 10+ years, with only 1,652 cases produced.
