Established in 1865 when Eduardo Seghesio planted his first Zinfandel vine in Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, the Seghesio estate has gone on to make a name for itself for the quality of its wines and attention to detail. Deeply perfumed aromas of raspberry and old vine Zin's intrinsic briary spiciness. Layered bright fruit flavours reminiscent of a cherry pie with a graham cracker crust. Old vine Zinfandel's complex spice undertones. Low yields in the vineyard preserved the vibrant natural acidity and balanced tannins. Long, persistent finish.
