To compound this, the ripening happened very quickly, it was warm ... the tiny crop yielded wines of power and density. Like this one. Powerful, concentrated and layered, this gives us a bounty of yellow peach, pineapple, nectarine and red apple skins. The briny acid snakes through it all and serves to stake it in place – a smart counter to the opulence of the fruit.
