Tripe.Iscariot 'Sœur' Cabernet Franc

Tripe.Iscariot was founded in 2012 by South African born and trained winemaker Remi Guise. His philosophy is one based on crafting regionally expressive wines, made from small parcels of fruit from vineyards of exceptional character. Remi's wines are a fusion of his South African roots and his continued Australian vinous exploration.

Half the ferment stays on skins for ~100 days, then blended with the other half that spent 18 days on skins. Aged for 16 months in French barriques, with 50% new.

Dark fruit, nori, cedar, black licorice, warm earth, and fine tannins.
