Thousand Candles

Complex and highly aromatic, leaping from the glass with dark cherries, warm bitumen, violets, exotic spice, and a distinctive stalky, gamey meat character. Light-to-medium bodied yet remarkably deep. It shows tight, seamless layers of ripe strawberry, sour cherry, pepper, and fresh liquorice strap. It is characterised by crackling, refreshing acidity and a tightly wound, gravelly, and resolutely firm tannic structure that gives it excellent length.
