Xanadu Stevens Road Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep, bright, youthful red/purple colour with a lifted fragrance recalling violets and both red and darker fruits, a touch of briar and some tomato bush. It's full-bodied and softly fleshy, chewy-textured and tight-packed, with lots of extract and density.

From Block 3 of the vineyard that Xanadu knows like the back of its hand. Static fermented, 28 days post-ferment maceration, matured for 14 months in French barriques (40% new). Combines elegance with length, intensity and balance. Blackcurrant, earth, black olive and cabernet tannins all chime in on the heavy lifting - this at 14% alcohol tells it all.
